I feel for you fly in fly out fellas but spare a thought for us regular 5/2 shifts (days that is) thet seem to always turn into 7/0 with a combination of wind/waves/work/wife conspiring against us.
On one of the recent really nice days I get a text message from Steve showing off his 17kg dhuie pics.... I don;t suppose you were onboard when they jagged that one were you?
earliy retirement is a good thing fifo well over it an unfortunate memory , only drama with earliy retirement is lack of fishing offsiders , amazes me the amount of cashed up blokes that wont retire early (mid fifties I mean) and keep going around when they could be enjoying their lives
Want to go fishing during the week, no decky! Weekends, radio watch and sea rescue training. Phone rings and off in a tow truck or time for weekly [soon to be twice a week ] pickup for transport company with deliveries next day, plus been asked to get K class licence to do part time driving a bus.
One could always tell them to pee off but that's not what one does in a small sea side town where vollies are what makes it what it is.
