I would have thought 50cm+ bream a bit rare in the Moore river, I have seen and caught heaps of smaller models though.  there is plenty of better ground the further you go from the ramp in my opinion

i was up there 2 weeks ago in the boat and caught more fish than i could count. the biggest was only 25cm but.

the tide was so low there was sand bars in front of the big dune just up the river, i've never seen the river so low.

i had to walk the boat across some parts so we could go further up stream.

Plenty around alright

There are heaps and heaps of small grunters and Bream all the way up. Using hard bodies from the boat could produce some larger species up river. Diamond Island produces well near the snags. I've been doing some land based up at Woodridge during the bad weather and there are always heaps around but as I said, a lot of small ones on bait.

We were up there acouple of weeks ago and had better luck further down the river. The river mouth was open and all the water basically ran out... tide very low.

I've fished Moore River quite a bit from my kayak

I've fished Moore River quite a bit from my kayak. I normally launch from the bank near Baragoon Rd (Woodridge) and the straigth strectch that starts about 100m down river (downriver is left if you are looking at the river from the bank where you put in) usually produces the highest numbers. Bigger fish can be picked up in the deep snags on the outside of bends just upriver from Diamond island.

If the bar across the mouth is broken though (I think it may still be now?) it can be a bit shallow upriver, so down near the mouth is a good option and gives you the possibility of picking up a juvenile salmon (they go great on bream gear).

50cm would be pretty good going in the Moore (unlikely in my opinion). My best there is only mid 30s with majority mid 20s. Not big bream but a nice spot, especially if you pick a day when every 'dick and his dog' with an 18ft cabin cruiser isn't tearing up and down at 40 knots, waving enthusiastically at you and wondering why you're giving them the finger :-)
