Thinking pretty seriously about doing a charter tour to the Montes next year. Anyone got any good recommendations for charter operators? Cheers :)

Look up Bernie and Sandra from Montebello Sports Fishing Charters. They will get you sorted. Trip of a life time.

Yup
Yup, Bernie and Sandra at mahi mahi are the people to talk to. Check out some of the photos in their image gallery to get an idea of the catches.

Monte Bello Island Safari.
I went with Montebello Island Safari last year, had a blast, great fishing/diving and i liked the fact that you slept/ate on a houseboat rather than the fishing boat plus a couple of days to explore the islands with tinnies and a jetboat to boot!! i can't compare coz it's the only one i've been on up there but it was great! only bad thing i guess is that it leaves from exmouth so there is a 12 hr steam each way.
Always keen to fish

Thanks heaps for the help
Thanks heaps for the help guys. I've checked out both websites and made some enquiries. I think the fact that Montebello Island Safaris has the houseboat, tinnies and a jetboat and are $1000 cheaper might just about win me over. Looks like such an amazing place and can't wait to go :)
