Hi all,
Hope there is no problem with me posting this (mods?) but for those interested in Micro Jigging or just trying something new off the boat or shore then I would love for you to take a look at my informational page on Micro Jigging. It is something I started doing and have fallen in love ever since due to the massive variety of fish I have caught as well as some really nice fish on light gear. I was told about it by a friend and noticed it isnt really all that popular so I wanted to spread the word!
Also another excuse for more toys!
Check it out at: www.microjigging.com
For those with Facebook I have a page for posting your captures here: https://www.facebook.com/microjigging

Cool as, I liked it, keep an eye on it, might be something for me seeing I fish inshore
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Get any small J hook
Get any small J hook preferably with gape wider than the width of the jig else it will snag on the jig itself.
Use any 20-30lb braid as assist. Alternatively as Scheky mentioned just use a split ring and a hook. You can tie it to either end of the jig.
I find these hooks excellent as tail hook. Not too expensive and super sharp. Only downside is they do rust.

Thanks guys!
Gamakatsu single hooks are very good in the small sizes. Otherwise maybe try something skirted like the Ecogear ZX replacement hooks. They have worked well for me rigged from the head of the micro jig
