metro pelagics and ytks

Hi all, im heading out on a mates boat on the weekend and we were planning on trolling a few lures and doing a bit of jigging for kingies or maybe sambos. Dont get too many opportunities out in a boat so want to make the most of it. was wondering if anyone could point us in the right direction where we might be in for a chance in the metro waters. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey mate around the west end of rotto is a good place to start looking. For sambos depths from 30-50m will have you in a reasonable spot

West End

The wrecks off West End are marked on most plotters. They are always fun.  A few in  100m hold sambo's, but sharks have been an issue the last few years. Plenty of ground on the way out to try. The south side of rotto has heaps of lumps and bumps all the way out to the wrecks.

I personally wouldn't bother with the pelagics. Too early in the season. Too much water between them...if they are here!! Happy to hear otherwise.
