Delkor
I have had a bad run in Century marine batteries. On a duel set up they have been outlived by every other type I have paired them with so won't go there any more. From Delkor marine, tractor batteries and even an Exide from a commodore that lasted 4 years, already in the commy 1 year. That was a surprise!
my last battery was a Delkor from Challenge Batteries in oz park. They were well priced, had a good range and service so could be worth a look.

I've had a fair run from Fullrivers
Not using them on the boat, but for camping, running two. One would be 5 yo this year, other 3yo. No appreciable loss of capacity, used to run camper, fridges, and camp freezer. Available in 105 a/hr and, also in 120, I believe. Can't comment on the rest.

I have changed from Optima to SSB Ultras. I am running 240ah house and 130ah of starting battery and they are brilliant.
I run 2 fridges and 1 freezer on big trips!
Around the $300 mark from Goodchild industries in Jandakot!

3 x 85's.
Couldnt physically lift bigger batteries into the spot i have then!
It's a pretty awesome system actually. Really happy with it. They are all in parralell untill the batteries drop until 12.7v so they are all constantly used!

streaker , i use sea master ,
streaker , i use sea master , have done since 2000 , in my 5.5 metre ally with a 90 2 stroke on it , it is a single battery and it runs everything .
im on my fourth battery which i just bought new in sept last year , the other 3 have given me an average of 5 years + usage , with never any problems in regards to cranking power , etc
they are only around the $175 mark ,
i also use them in my 4by with a dual battery system , i found they last longer than the century heavy duty low maintenance ones i once swore by

I got the SSB 780cca dry cell from goodchilds in cockburn. Excellent battery at excellent price. I didnt run the boat for 8 months whilst carrying some repair work and it turned over my 135ho v6 mercury no dramas. Had even used the fm radio to listen to for a few hours whilst working on the boat

I've been looking for a deep cycle battery too, to put in my Thunder Weekender battery box for camping (40L engel etc.)
If anyone is looking for something in the 100Ah - 160Ah range, feel free to have a look at the spreadsheet I filled out to compare a bunch of brands:

That's a little strange...I've changed the sharing settings so hopefully that fixes it. Otherwise maybe a browser issue?
