Manic Crab

I dont go to BCF often but dropped in today. They had some plastic crabs lures on display with a video loop, Jig heads that sit the crab up at 45 degrees. Probably have been around for a while but i hadnt seen them before. Looked very interesting but that doesnt always mean they work. I think they were called Manic Crabs.

Has any one used them?

 Do you mean these ones??

Bluebone on crabs.

We took the smaller ones and the bigger ones up to Shark Bay. They tend to sink pretty slow so we used them in the shallows, under 4m.

They were good for attracting the Bluebones but tended to slip on the hooks very easy. 1 small tap and time to re-set.

If you are in a known Baldie spot then i'm sure they would be spot on. They would also be good on an assist hook when dermersal fishing so after the pickers have destroyed your bait there is something for the baldies to go.

Can you say what you paid for them and how do they come? as a pack of how many etc and did you buy the hook/sinker setup as well. Interested to see how the price compares with Cranka Crab and Standin Yabbie and other products of similar nature
