If your chasing squid in

If your chasing squid in mandurah, than the Dawesville Cut produces well with the incoming tide at night.

It is still a bit early in the season for them there, but ive been having some luck of recent. Casting size 2.5 - 3.0 jigs towards well lit areas, eg. Jolly Frog jetty and under the bridge on the north side will ussually hold some numbers.

when ya driving your house boat through the estuary, chuck a smiley jack, or a twistie out the back. should be able to pick up some rogue tailor.

Might see you out there somewhere?  I'll be down that way for the long weekend.  I'm keen to head out a bit wider though and try for some KGs if I get a chance?

Sounds like a great Bucks good not to just do the pissy boob thing but to actually do something aswell that you remember. 2 week age when we were down there we stayed at herrion point and there was only blowies we did venture to mandurah on day and fish the jetty near the groin at  the mouth and their were King george, Herring and Skippy their to my suprise just fishing the little jetty with Sabiki bait chasers and a bit of prawn
