Lurking
Submitted by Browndog on Mon, 2012-05-07 19:44
Hi All, I've been lurking here for a while and thought it was about time to show my face. I enjoy a bit of fishing, and have done for the last 30-odd years, but I must say compared to some of the people on here I put myself firmly in the novice category! I generally get to fish land based around point peron with my 5 year old son (who is dead keen for around 30 minutes per session) and occasionally get out the back of Garden Island but haven't had much success out there yet.
Anyway, just thought I'd say hi and look forward to more discussions on everything fishy.
Cheers,
Browndog.

Thanks guys, you are right, it was a nice Dhu, very tasty
Caught that on an Abrolhos charter a few years back, my most memorable 4 days fishing ever...
Yes when time permits I'll post some reports, but unfortunately my recent metro efforts haven't yielded anything more exciting than KG's, flounder and a fat old cobbler speared while snorkelling. Looking forward to getting my first Cockburn Sound Pinkie now I have a boat...

Hi Brad, no problems, not
Hi Brad, no problems, not sure if we will get down that way this weekend or not, but usually have room for a decky (saves me launching/retreiving on my own!)
I'll drop you a line later in the week once I know for sure if we are heading down there.
Cheers,
BD.
