LB Fishing - where to go?
Submitted by buschy on Wed, 2010-12-01 21:12
Hi folks,
Had planned on going up past Leeman for a few days camping & fishing this coming Mon/Tue/Wed night. Looks like rain might be coming.
Just hoping for a quick brainstorm on places to go that are relatively isolated / quiet for a LB adventure. Preferably within four hours or so of Perth. Was planning to target baitfish and sharks - prob try for a mulloway and tailor too.
Cheers,
Buschy

yup
Yes mate - just picked up an 05 Nav STR so looking to give it a workout...nothing too trying though as I will be on my own and don't really fancy shovelling haha!
Looks like the forecast has changed anyway so Leeman area (north of) may be back on again.

compressor
make sure you pack the compressor - there can be some soft bits. Not as bad as further south, but if you are on your own....

S bend
I haven't fished there a great deal but I think alot of the LB ground north of leeman is shallow. Head another hour north and go to sbend. Or try around jurien at sandy cape or even wedge island area
