Last nights effort

Couple of fish from last night behind GI, snapper went 75cm and the flathead 42cm. Weather was awsome got the snapper around 6pm had another two runs which I think were rays (didn't get them to the boat). Expected the action to heat up as the sun went down but was very quiet just the flathead, lots of boats out for a Monday.

Tasty!
Awesome snapper! Well done mate!
In regards to losing fish and thinking they were rays, next time ease back on the drag and just tire the fish out. They could be big Dhuies! I too thought what I hooked was a ray or large seaweed coz of not much headshakes initially, just the line being dragged. Turned out to be a 74cm Dhu.
A fish in the hand is worth 10 in the water!
