Hi guys I know there will be other posts about this but, anyway we are heading to Denham in Sept. and we were taking our new boat, however due to mr. covid its been delayed. So we are still going but now will be landbased. Any advice/ideas of were to head to get a good feed of bread and butter fish and/or snapper would be appreciated as I have only ever fished up there from a boat.
cheers

Yellowfin whiting are everywhere, if you find rocky country you'll likely find bluebone, pinkies blacks and squid off the jetty at night.

We caught snapper from the beach at the very tip of Cape Peron (Francois Peron National Park) but it's a long drive from Denham.
We fished on the eastern beach there with a pretty basic rig with one dropper and a star sinker. You don't need to cast a mile - there is a gutter not far from shore. The fish came through every night just as the sun was hitting the water. We had no problem getting our bag each time we fished.
