Kwinana Beach Jetty

Paid a visit to Kwinana Beach (Horse Beach near Desal Plant), managed to get out on to the old jetty. Just set up ready to fish when Port security nicely came and kicked us off. Didn`t even get a line out.
Looks like a good fishing spot, has anyone fished off the end and what have you caught?
How did you get around security?
If you where caught did you get a fine? They mentioned you could get fined!

funny story
we used to get on that jetty years ago before they cut the stairs from the drop down platform where we used to gaff the fish! there was a small hole cut in the floor and we would climb up through there only ever going there late arvo or very early before the sun would rise! we would still get kicked off from time to time though never said we would get fined! i worked for a copper back then so i did no most of the cops in town. anyway we were fishing one day and pulled two nice snapper of the jetty when the security gaurd came and kicked us off! for the second day in a row and he told us he had called the cops so we scrammed outta there. we were just about to turn onto rocingham road when we got pulled over by two cops which i didnt know, they didnt even make it to the front window they stopped at the rear window and stared at the snapper so i got out and explained to them what it was and how we caught it! we chatted for probably twenty mins before they said be carefull your not fishing in a restricted zone! anyway first thing the next morning my boss rings me (the copper) and asks if i was causing trouble last night! im like no i was fishing he replies so it was you ya little bastard all the coppers are talking about this huge fish they seen last night in the back of a station wagon!
