Well only 2 days to go and we are off for a 2 week trip around the Kimberly's .Worst will be the tow to Derby ,but sould be a great trip.

As this will be our 3rd trip up that way in the last 3 years, but the first time with other boats on the trip. It should be great..
Especially as someone turns the big 50 on the trip.. Planning on being at Croc Creek for that one..
Great place to hold a PARTY with close friends and no gate crashers out that way... .

I grew up on cockatoo island in the 1970s - 1980s and still
miss that part of the world. Croc creek is awesome along with all the other islands and mangroves around that area. Cant wait to do a trip up there in the future. Hope you post plenty of photos and reports looking forward to seeing it again - lucky bastard!! Cheers Dave

Might see you up there. We are leaving from Derby the Tuesday after Easter for 7 days. Mainly going to the Raft Point / Sale River area, 3 families in 3 boats so theres always the chance of gate crashers!

how far up?
how far up are you guys heading? we had a bit of rain in doubtful bay which shut the barra down but still got into the Jacks, could actually see the barra sitting in the gutters chucking the net. The charter boats are only just starting to head up the coast now so the creeks are still pretty unfished. Waters hot and a good hot clear day and it should all come alive! have an awesome trip guys! looking forward to a report!

Only going as far as the Horries
and back, but the main place I want to go fish are the back creeks of the Graveyards.. Last time there we had a ball and caught some decent fish..

you guys weren't parked up at the Pardoo Station turnoff fixing trailers yesterday at 12pm at all? three boats there but i didn't recognise them and i was only saying to the mrs theres not much fishing for as big boat until Broome, then i remembers a few FW crew where headed north for the big trip!

anyhow off in the morning, high tide at 4:07 am so will be launching about 4:30.. Bring it on.

Hey Bruce, knowing Paul, it was probably him trying to fix a wheel bearing. He don't have a good track record for them going back to the Fish wrecked Exy comp days. haha

I almost hit the brakes and
I almost hit the brakes and turned around but it takes some time to slow the big cruiser down from highway speeds, i just wanted to pinch a beer actually. At least he isn't ordering new axles this time Rob.
Glad to see you guys got back on the road OK, that easterly would have been a fuel consumption nightmare! personally i loved it heading home :)
