KG's on Plastics? Any success?

Hey people,

Heading out from Hillaries for a fish tomorrow morn and was was wondering if any one here has had any success chasing King George's on softies?

I usually use fresh squid or occy with some success.

Caught a lot of nice ones on

Caught a lot of nice ones on Gulp worms cut in half and also on Atomic Prong soft placcies when I was living back in SA. I found that if using a Gulp worm in half, instead of threading the worm "straight" on the hook I'd thread in on and loop it up a few times so it was a bit more bunched. I found I was getting heaps of short strikes and no hook ups with the long tail hanging off the back with no hook in it.
