KG's in 2m

Headed out from Woodmans 7am, after catching a squid on the first cast we expected to follow up with another 10. Turned out to be a lucky cast with the next hour brinnging no results.
Decided to test the edges of the week patches and rigged up for a KG. That turned out be the best decision of the day.

Caught these 6 on light gear in 2m of water. Gave a nice fight on light gear.

Will have to google to find the best way to cook them.

cant see any fish but best way to cook is lightly flour the fillets and cook in a pan with a bit of butter. that way you wont ruin the sweet taste of the kg. well done on the haul

As mentioned above the KISS principle certainly the best. Touch of egg, flour, butter and cook briefly. Dont overcook as it is delish even almost raw (and raw as sashimi).
Probably now would rather have a KG than Coral trout or red emp. YUM
