just wondering now that it's kg time , has anyone got any new rig idea's
i was thinking of tying a couple of 1/0's snelled , but 30 cm apart. a ball sinker down to the top hook. use bait or the gulp sandworms.
could be snaggy but.

either a paternoster with
either a paternoster with 3/0 or smaller hooks, with just enough wieght to keep it on the bottom.
Or my favourite is a running ball sinker with a 6-4 long shank hook.only about 60-80cms of trace so that it drifts around near the bottom.
where are you going to target them??

Try the trailing Gulp crab idea
just add another loop at the bottom of your rig and run a long leader with a small peeler crab. They are deadly on KGs.
Other than that I use shiner hooks again with the leader below the lead so it trails along the bottom.
