Keep clear of propellers

Just caught the end of the story on ch 7 news that someone was badly hurt in an accident down at Mandurah, from what I heard they got badly hurt by getting caught up with the prop on a boat and it was lucky that a nurse was nearby and administered first aid.
You can never be too careful when around turning props and they can inflict very serious injuries in a blind of an eye. Hope everything turns out ok for the injured party

Yes, the poor woman was reported to have been struck in the face, arm and leg by the propeller.
No doubt we will hear more of this accident.
Thoughts go out to all involved.

And another at Rottnest
A boy was hit by a prop I believe and I understand there were several disqualifications during the Rottnest swim when boats went into reverse near swimmers.....bloody stupid and dq well deserved in my view. be careful if you are on the water
