Mate I just got back and the Mackies are everywhere. We headed up to Wagoe in a tinny and they were jumping all around us. Was an amazing site. We had our limit in 15mins. Then picked up some nice snapper and baldies on the way back. Id take the tinny mate.

With the tinny you can head up river
Some nice Bream, School jew and Jacks up there. Also try for some Mudcrabs and blues. Gives you another choice should the wind blow.

What sort of depths do you
What sort of depths do you get in the Murch, and how far up can one go.
Have a 4.6 runabout and will be up there in a coupla weeks as well.
Got a Navionics card for upto Shark Bay but doubt it would be accurate for the river!
Will def get stuck into some macks but have always wanted to venture upriver
but never done it when been up there before.
Anyone know of some good/cheap accom for a week, must have chest freezer!
Stayed at Paradiso (house) which is fantastic but $600 a week is a bit steep for two blokes!
