jurien 1st/2nd banks

We are heading up to jurien in 4 weeks , and never having fished there , I've been doing a bit of searching and chart checking
Am I right in thinking that the first bank is the drop off at 5.5 NM out from the harbour , down to 30 meters , and the second bank rises out of the 50's into the
40's at 18 NM before dropping off deep??
Providing the wind is good , the 2nd bank'll be the go eh?? I've beeen told the 50's are a bit desolate.
also , what is the wreck just off the leads to J bay??
cheers

cheers fella's ,
We have snagged a place called "dhufish lodge" , so hoping it bodes well.
Can see boomer reef on charts. will try along that drop off with the trolling gear. see if a mac decides to play the game.
was wondering if the wreck on the charts has sambo's all over it , or weather it's a little late??
Also , those mulloway that ChrisP posted, I'd love to get into some of those
never having caught one from a boat, do they like certain large structure , or otherwise??

Grayzee, the first bank is not 5.5nm. It is well out (guessing 15nm without a chart in front of me) where the depth comes up from about 50m into the 40's again. The second bank is another 5 or so nm out beyond the first. You will know when you have gone over the second. - the depth goes from 60 odd metres to 100+ in 1/2nm or so and keeps going down.
