Trying to get gear sorted for a jigging trip in nz on enchanter next month. If anyone has done this can you give me a bit of a list of things to take etc what size leaders, how many jig and sizes, or anything else you can think off.

Jigs 300-500g for kingsjigs
Jigs 300-500g for kings
jigs 750-1000g for bass and puka for slow style jigging
100-120lb fluro for kings
150-170lb fluro for bass
take as many jigs as your baggage weight will allow if you are joining braid to leader via pr or fg knot and your confident in them you shouldnt loose any
think I used no 11 split rings and same size solids for jig connection as the boys pull all the Kings over the side of the boat holding the jig
all mono to solid ring connections should be made via a ag chain knot with a small section of knot sleeve where the mono touches the metal of the ring
take some surface stick baits with singles as they don't like you using trebles on the boat.
Take some jigging gloves and a gimble
If you don't know how to do any of these knots I'd learn before you go and make sure they will hold up. As the Kings foght crazy hard and you have to fish pretty locked up
have a great time the fishing will be awesome over there it always is lance and Steve always go above and beyond to put you on the fish

I use the jigging master one
I use the jigging master one with the pin and the cup. The pin just folds to the side when you want to use the cup

Lance on Enchanter gets
Lance on Enchanter gets pretty pissed at the damage to his paintwork caused by metal gimbal belts similar to the JM. You can buy the cheapie plastic belts but better still are the Swage belts, although they cost around the JM price.
