Important****Release Weights Back on the shelves
Through Ryan's contacts in the Tackle trade and Wally's release weight push and Gary Lilley's mould they've got a new supplier and the release weights now (finally) back in production!
So after a few weeks if you are in a tackle shop and you cant see any release weights on the shelves, can you please ask the question.
"When will you be getting any in" if they say, what the!......you just need to say, ring Jason from Sunset Sinkers and he will supply you with some, just to make sure you got that Jason from Sunset Sinkers
Ps Oceanside will stock them
* Yes, no excuses now, stockem, recommend em and use them *
Only one size so far but others on the drawing board fromm what I have read on other forums.
Well done Ryan, Wally, Gary, Jason and all concerned.
Cheers

Agree
Sorry for stealing your FWA post Ryan, but I thought it was too important not to post up here as well as the other WA forums.
So a bit of poetic license from me and your post magically appears on this site too. Hope you don't mind.
Cheers

Good stuff
Good stuff Ryan, Wally and Garry. Hopefully everyone will pick up one of these and keep it in the boat as it is an essential tool in helping release fish.

Thanks guys!
No probs Andy but just a correction re your post topic heading, they're not actually on shelves yet re through the new suppler, they're just getting made now and I'm the first order which all being well Friday arvo!
I've ordered heaps of the big one and a few of the smaller one, a super sized weight for large sambo's and dhufish etc will be made but Jason the supplier/manufacturer want's to get a supply of the current weights first!
All's good :)

Awsome work lads to all involved. If we can chip away with the average fisho's concept of fishing for the future we are heading in the right direction in my opinion.Great work lads.

sorry to be ignorant, but how do release weights work? I've never used one. I get the concept but not the particulars.

why small
i have seen small release weights and i have no idea why, fish do not go back on these smaller weights, the bigger the better as the fish needs to go down to survive, the small ones are a waste of time,
