Hi there
I am thinking of going to Hillarys fishing this weekend, which rock wall is better to fish on? I want to catch some whiting or possible a snapper?
What would be the best bait / rig to use? Thank you

Well, at Hillaries I've
Well, at Hillaries I've caught tarwhine, black bream, gurnards, flatheads, flounders, pike, herring and whiting, nothing overly exciting. Occasionally mulloway show up and of course there are plenty of rays cruising through there if you want to stretch your arms.
The link below will tell you about size limits and how many you can keep.

I have so many mates who have no clue about the ban and bag limits and sizes and so on...
i think it needs to be more publishied, signs and stuff at ramps and so on, even tv adds...
it won't stop everyone but it would defiantly help those people who want to abide by the rules

I visited the fishiers
I visited the fishiers webstie, and downloaded the booklet, i will make sure to keep it on me at all times when fishing. I did not know half to stuff. My missus dad, lives in perth 50 years and he did not know half the information on it, I have a bucket list of fish i want to catch. I have caught tailor and whiting, really want the snapper next, then australia salmon down in hamelin bay, and of course the barra up in kimberleys.
What are the best fish to catch in your experiences? sporting wise and for food?

Well do e mate. Information
Well do e mate. Information is power. Big fan of snapper for fight and the plate, and Hamlen bay is a good place to start for a Salmon in Easter.
