help with sambos

Taking dad for a fish tomorrow can anyone help with a sambo spot out of ocean reef or hillarys trying to get him his first proper sambo. Any advice would be great thanks guys :)

burley is the key and persist once you've started burleying, resist the urge to move if you havemt got a sambo after 20 mins. Also have light rod out with a small fillet of fish mid water for Skippy that show up

 Yep beau is onto it. I got a few sub 10kg sambos this morning out from hillaries on the 3 mile. 12m's of water, a few smashed up cray heads in the burley pot (best burley ever!) and then live/fresh dead bait you can't go wrong! Always get busted up by the big boys but if your ready the smaller ones are fair game!

the earlier your out there the better!

Burley trail with an unweighted scalie or mullie on two snelled 7/0 Gamakatsu hooks. Hang on and enjoy the ride!
