Go really hard, good fun. I hadn't seen much of them at Ningaloo for years, and thought numbers were on the decline. But, last year, down towards Norwegian bay, they were in absolute plague proportions, you couldn't catch anything else on a lure or bait.
The Gold Spot Trevally, or, to give it the banana bender name, Turrum, is common in the same waters. Turrum can have have more gold-coloured fins,(in the smaller fish) and gold spots, and are not as thick through the body as a bludger.
I was referring to in the post, as the poster above said the bludger looked like a Turrum. They call ( or have in the past) Gold Spots , Turrum, in the land of Fourecks. I caught that one in Kalbarri early new year, good size ones like that turn up there a bit.
