Hamelin bay Pilot whales beached again

It's happeend again, back in 2009 we were staying down there when the whales beached themselves, 100+ of them and none survived
Has hapepened again 9 years on to the EXACT day, this time 150-200, my parents are down there at present, Hamelin bay is closed to the public.

My thoughts
it must co-inside with the salmon migration. (Somehow)
I have no marine biology grounds to base that on, but it would make sense for the time of year.

this time of year could be the time they migrate , if so the chances of it happening on the same dates would increase. its sad to see it happen tho.
