great trip and a couple of pb's

Hi all! We have just returned from a week at Warrara station. It was our first time there and we were not disappointed. Adam had a personal best with a  120cm long Spanish Mackeral estimated weight of about 15kg and caught in the first 15 minutes outside the reef.He also landed a 75cm spangled emperor estimated 5+ kg , his first Balchin Groper at 39cm ( released as 1 cm under sized) ,  around 50cm trevally. I also caught my first Trevally around 45cm which i was wrapped with, at least until our friend steve pulled in a 86cm! Aside from the great fishing, and i do mean great. Lots of reports of Spangled Emperor , squid , trevally and soapy mulloway. It is a magnificent part of the country and my little boat went really well. The kids had a ball and weather was a nice change from what we came home to. We are all really looking forward to the next fishing adventure once i get through some hospital stuff this year. Warrara is definately on the agenda. I  even had a guy line me up for a snatch strap rescue whilst loading my boat on? He told me I'd need two straps to get out??? Considering i was not yet stuck i suggested he let me have a go first. My pajero and girl power sailed straight up the beach no probs..... He just hadn't counted on letting a woman do it lol!!! And Adz was just a little bit proud of me .

Thanks heaps to Ryan and Carnarvonite for their willingness to help when we encountered tyre problems outside Carnarvon. Its great to know there was help around the corner!!!!!!

hi nanna Bobby, Warroora station is two hours north of Carnarvon. Bob would have been proud of us with the Spanish Mac! When we get pics up there is one of it next to your grand daughter and its as big as her.  Will get you a copy for the photo album xx
