Got lucky

Seems i got lucky here.

I did wonder why the trailer got extra squeaky around 700km ago....

We were planning to drive from Hopetoun to West River through the national park but the 'road' was so shitty (worse than Ningaloo Station track), 10km of currogations in, hoping it would get better, we turned around and went back the way we came. I am very glad we did.

I always carry a spare

I have been with others on remote tracks when they snapped a spring, and it was a mission to get the trailer back to the black top.  So I always carry a spare spring bolted to the boat trailer (and same for my camper) chassis with U bolts, and carry spare spring hangers and bolts etc, plus everything needed to change a hub if a wheel bearing craps itself etc.
