Well done mate the old hillaries has never let me down to get some quality bait and good sized tailor. Well done. Next time try fishing the south wall about 100m up from the beach, theres always good tailor there when the chop picks up this time of the year.

last time i was at the south
last time i was at the south wall i caught 5 or 6 trumpeter and my dad hooked up to 2 big tailor at the same time with his alvey and a smaller rod;we dropped em both after he handed me the small rod
it was the closest he came to catching sumting apart from a small size bream
he said bout 1970 he went there and they were catching big chopper tailor every cast and if he had a bigger rod he wouldve been able to catch monster tailor bout 80cm long
