Gear for the missus

Just looking for something for the missus for christmas for an offshore spin rig. Had so many recommendations. Had the T- Curve, Fin Nor, Jig Wrex and Samaki Offshore rods recommended. With the reels, not too sure. Something that I can get her two spools, one for 30lb braid and one for 50lb braid. Want to maybe get something Looking to spend about $500-600 in total. Any ideas?

cheers, what do you think of putting it on a 50 or 80lb Fin Nor offshore. Or the new Tcurve revolution. how much difference does the carbontex drag make?

Thanks

CI4

The new Stradic CI4 is a pretty nice unit. Think that's the one Brenz is talking about.

Something about the 4000 size would be multifunctional as well.

Sun, 2010-11-28 19:44

we do a bit of mulloway fishing in the creeks up here in the pilbara plus a bit of offshore bottom bashing and macky chasing. would the stradic 8000 stand up to those ok?

The stradic will be great

Sun, 2010-11-28 20:26

The stradic will be great mate. I had a 6000 that I used for everything up north with 30lb and it caught pretty much everything. Also got an 8000 now with 30lb/50lb and use it for everything.
