Can anybody help, I need to download my waypoints from a Furuno GP7000f to a PC (or something)? I'm selling my boat with the plotter on it and not really keen on losing my way points or writing them all down by hand. If I remove the c-map card will the waypoints go or are they saved to the unit?
Cheers guys.

Pull the waypoints up on the screen of the plotter, Take a shot of the screen with your phone or tablet. Done. Then erase them off the plotter.

go look this up
http://furunousa.com/ProductDocuments/GP7000%20Operator%27s%20Manul%20ver%20C3.pdf
section 9-1 Data transfer
follow the instructions there to "9.1.3 saving data to a memory card"
when you get it off the unit onto a memory card, download a bit of software to your PC called GPSU http://www.gpsu.co.uk there is a paid and a free version, the only difference is the amount of WP it will let you work with. That software will allow you to import and modify/check your waypoints, tracks and marks with any type of chartplotter made today once you have saved them to the PC you can save it to any format that you choose ie: lowrance, simrad, raymarine etc etc
if you have any hassles pm me and ill give you a hand mate
