sorry no luck in that one boys, both sides chocked on top class bowling in the middle innings, then Australia let RSA off the hook in the last session, where they could not get their eye back on the seem and bowl the wicket line.
Whats more a lot of the guys in the Australia team had not seen such a harsh and agressive front pace attack and speeds as high as what was being bowled on the leg stump every time! They paniced, pushed out with a fairy bat at times and walked across their wicket too many times, and the LBW caught them and the SAFFAs many many times.
Then again it's the wake up call the selectors needed to hear, the new panel could have easily had a easy game and let sleeping dogs lie, ie still kept a load of dead wood. Now this 8 wicket kick in the butt has made them sit up and think.
I think Ponting should walk if he does not get a few big scores soon, Bring back Simon K, no matter what he has said, he was the best opening stay-maker we had, with the present pair, including numbers 3 and 4 chocking every second game.
Time to get the boys use too full pace attacks again and for God's sake please find a good reliable spinner, even if he is half a Warnie he will make a huge difference on the breaking wickets in the last sessions of a match.
