Yeah, plenty of great dams with fish in them in the hills.
Sepentine, Canning, Wungong Dams, Mundaring Weir all hold good fish BUT unlike the eastern states which stock and encourage fishing in their water supply dams here in WA you are not allowed to go anywhere near them let alone throw a line in the water. With Perth now getting a lot of its drinking water from the desalination plants one would hope that access to at least some of the hills dams could be opened up to fishing.
