Freo to Swanbourne Area
Submitted by chumstain on Wed, 2018-01-24 18:07
Hi everyone, im trying to find some spots on the beach that bike-rideable from my house (im 15). Does anyone know any spots??? Im the kind of person that is happy with everything, from whiting or herring to sharks! I used to fish the moles, but im not up to it anymore because I got mugged by a dozen (literally) housos (some were 13 and off their face) with my mate. The police barely cared of course. I think they got a move-on notice from Freo but I doubt that means anything to them, so im looking for some quieter spots anywhere from freo to swanbourne.
I have also got a great kayak, but I can't use it at night.
Thanks for any help!!!
Also, are there any kids my age on this awesome site??? Keen to compete! ;)

Thanks!
I am very keen to have a fish! Thanks so much for the offer!!! Its a pity my parents both hate fishing, but its great to have people like you who are so generous on this forum! I am very happy to catch up at swanny with some people who know what they are doing. You name a time, ill be there! I need to buy some new rods though... If anyone has any old gear id love to buy it, i just cant afford new stuff anymore, once i managed to snap two 200 dollar rods in a month on my bike! Thanks again for the offer, pm whenever you are going and ill try not to be a nuisance ;)
cheers

Agreed, take up Cal's offer,
Agreed, take up Cal's offer, you won't have any more trouble.
Like Callum said plenty of tailor and sharks along that stretch. Find some reef or a nice gutter and hit it hard. Lures and unweighted mulies can be very successful on sunset/sunrise. If you can get out on your yak chuck little metals onto the reefs, plenty of herring to be had close to shore. Chuck out a big rod with a live herring or strip of bait in case something bigger is lurking around

How's that for help
That is what makes this site so great, good people willing to help out young starters and put them on the right trail for a long fishing future.
Good karma to you mikegonefishing may your line always be taught and your rod always bent.
