What a boring start to the season. Why would you not have a game played in each state to start the season off. Only watched a bit of gws pies game... thats how much interest the afl generated here in WA.

Not sure why you'd think that Bodgy, the Vics got the same number of games we did - zero.
More about trying to shove aussie rules down the throat of rugby league states, while everyone else misses out.

Yep it was entirely about having games in traditional MRL markets on their opening round. They got around 116,000 people across the 4 games which is pretty good I think.
Anyway as a WCE fan having the bye first week is probably our best start to a season for a while!
