hi
took my boat out yesterday morning form deepwater ramp near canning bridge for a bit of fishing but couldn't get any fish except blowies
tried from canning bridge till mosman bay all the way but no sign for any good fish
can anybody suggest any area that would produce any good fish (bream etc.)
this was my first time in the swan but it's disspointing
cheers

Hey mate unlucky, i went out last night in the swan fished the northfreomantle clifs near the water police headquaters, and got heaps and heaps of talior around the 25 and up mark was able to keep 2 bigger ones going 42cm and 40 and get a few big herring, they where all taken on lures trawling untill we found the school.

maylands
i fish the snags arround maylands and allways seem to produce
just anchor up about 15 meaters away from the snag i either use unwated prawn and just sit it out there for a bream while i am throwing arround baby vibe (river to sea lures) you can get them at any good tackel store
if you put your boat in at the police acadamy there you go straight across the rever and a littel bit to the left (about 100 m) there is a big fallen down tree i do good there mate you cant miss it
and then all the way besides that there is water rush's and diffrent snags they are allright
just have to go arround the corner and all that just explore and find some nice snags you cant go rong
hope this has been some help mate
