fishing charter

hey guys, might go out on a fishing charter with james(flangies) when he comes back from tassie,and was wondering if there are any info u could share with me about fishing of a boat,etc,,what is a medium range rod for snapper,dhuies,and the likes,and what kilo capacity the rod has to have for fishing with large snapper sinkers,,or is it just any landbased rods im using right now,what rigs to use,what bait,and what are the good charters out there,that provides good fishing and a reasonable price..and any other advice is good aswell = ].thanks

Type in charter in the search box mate, theres plenty of info there! But basically..Nabraska, Saltwater charters are good in Perth..Aqualib are good down in Mandurah if you want to catch some Dhuifish!
Charters will supply you with your rigs and bait...as for some good bottom bouncing gear..just ask one of the guys on here that work at a tackle shop, tell them your budget..and they will tell you what you can get for your dollars!

most charters have rods and
most charters have rods and reels just not the flash stuff or just use a winch they have on board

Find out the price of the trip for the two of you and put a notice/comment on this site to see if one of the members is willing to take you out expenses paid to the cost of the charter boat trip.
You would learn more and I dare say catch more on a private trip out as well as not having to contend with 15 or so plus other people.
