It is one of the Roughy or Sawbelly genus Hoplostethus. It could be the Giant Sawbelly Hoplostethus gigas or possibly an undescribed western variation of that. Can you give any locality details (and I don't mean your exact mark :-). Don't suppose you have it stored away in the freezer, whole?.....
