Finally, eating some crays!

First off, I would like to give a big thank you to Andy (sea-kem) and Jye (Curndog). They heard I haven't had crays for awhile and gave me some for my family. Fken top blokes!!
Anyway, I was going to do an Asian dish but the missus wanted to grill the crays. When I got home from work today, the missus asked me to relax and she'll prepare dinner. 5 minutes later, she wanted me to cook coz she reckons I'm the better seafood cook. Lol
I kept the dish simple. Melted butter, garlic and cheese. Sprinkled some chopped Vietnamese mint when I plated.
Tasted great!

Thanks guys.
Andy, I rarely drink alcohol... the most was at my wedding, drank 12 "steins" and was sick for 3 days...

I've tried a new cray approach lately
Popcorn crayfish! So instead of KFC popcorn chicken, substitute the chicken for crayfish. Basically plain flowe and Cajun spice, dip in egg and then the flour / spice mix and then into hot oil. A good dipping sauce is mayo mixed with lemon juice. Good stuff!

Ginger always goes well with crays...
Good old FW, this week yet again a kindly member in Alex Fuzzy has not only provided parking for our annual Rotto trip but also helped launch and driven the car and trailer back from the ramp!

Yes to ginger!
Yeah mate, I agree. Crayfish and other crustaceans go well with ginger and scallions (spring onion).
