Favourite Jigs/Plastics for Demersals

Hi all.

Im heading to Coral Bay in a couple of months for a fishing trip with the boys. Im hoping to give jigging and plastics a big go whilst up there.

My question is what is your favourite jig/Plastic you like to use for demersals, either for up north or fishing down south chasing dhueys ect..? and What do you target with a particular jig/plastic?

if you could up load pictures that would be great to.

Cheers all.

bar a good workout mate.

But if that doesnt work. McArthy 7in Bullheads in any colour on a suitable jighead would be my fav SP.

Then Evergreen Caprice or Fanky Jig 100 or 130g, Ima Ro 100g and Daiwa Pirate 120-150g would be my fav Metal Jigs for depths to 70m.

Mcarthy finesse minnow, 5" in pearl for tuna, trevally and queenfish.

All the usual suspects for jigging: caprice, fanky, ima ro, and searocks for the day gets expensive!

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

yep I'd probably not go the Mcarthy option up north, everything up there has teeth, and it usually gets expensive very quick!!

On the other hand snapbacks last a lot longer, and had huge success out of exmouth on Spangos, trout, trevs, and even mackies! (im sure i lsot at least a dozen in 20 minutes during the comp.... guess that happens with no wire!)

I've been using the Zman 8"

I've been using the Zman 8" streakz a lot more than Mcarthy's lately as they last a hell of a lot longer. Perfect size for bottom fish too.
