Exmouth in November

Evening All,

Shawcatch and I are planning a 5 night fishing trip from the 7th of November onwards, We will be land based only so looking for a good spot to hit.

Have done a bit of research and thus far Exmouth looks the goods, with plenty of options within 4x4 range.

But you'll never be able to beat local knowledge. So to everyone that lives in or has fished Exmouth in November, any feedback for us? We're both very green on the Exmouth area so have no idea on winds will be like that time of year, and i figure they are going to be our main issue.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.....

Cheers Simmo

it will be windy and hot, if its lb fishing you should be able to get somewhere to fish. plenty of tracks heading to beaches on west side and there should be plenty of fish around. good luck

The Simmo and Shawcatch Adventures....doesn't have the same ring to it hey mate? I reckon you would be much better off going to Wedge for a couple of nights, so I can come along as well. Tongue out

Good luck guys.

I'm pretty sure the lighthouse is a good place to start with options to fish the gulf or reef depending on conditions for spangles, queenies, etc.

Try the marina at night on the high tide, the jacks and spangos should have warmed up by then - good leader will help too. ;)
