Mate and I were planning a trip to exmouth later this year and he has just msgd me saying that he's been told by a charter company that there is a fishing closure on from mid October-mid December in exmouth. Does anyone know if there is truth to this?

Closures
If you go to the Fisheries website it notes all seasonal closures. Without jumping on the site myself I know there are bans in that time for Demersal fishing for metro, not sure if it extends north but.

Its not really just metro,
Its not really just metro, its the whole west coast region.
Fisheries have considered implementing the same ban in other regions and perhaps the charter has advance knowledge of this?

Cheers guys, I also just spoke to fisheries on my lunch break and no closures at the moment or planned for the foreseeable future is what they said. Thanks to all for the quick replies.
