Hey guys,
A mate has talked me into going down to Esperance from Kalgoorlie this weekend for the fishing comp, having only boat fished in Esperance once and mainly in the bay I was hoping for some local knowledge. I dont expect any secret spots or exact GPS co-ords or anything but just some idea roughly how far out and what direction I should be looking to go to get some decent reef species. In particular out East as it looks like it will blowing a bit later in the day and I'd prefer to come back with it.
Rest assured I wont be getting down there very often and I'm not into hitting a spot and raping it. Any advice would be much appreciated and PM if you feel more comfortable.
Cheers Watto

Was down there over Christmas
Was down there over Christmas and got out a few times when the weather allowed. Check out the charts of the area and look for any of the contours that show a good rise from the depths. I've heard the further you go out the better. I think the better Nannygui come from the 40m+ and theres plenty of Queenies around. Could give you a few spots we found if you get desperate. Good luck mate!
