scalies
last Friday night and Saturday morning the scalies (yes scalies not bonies) were that thick at the narrows you could jag one every cast on a twisty! ive never seen scalies that far up but they were 2-3m thick on my sounder and from one side of the river to the other. cheers

yes they are at ammo
Ammo jetty is crawling with them. Went down with both my boys on separate trips last week Wed+Fri, and didnt have any trouble finding them. Win win win. Boys get to catch as many a they can which they love ( 2 + 6 yrsold), I get a freezer full of bait for the boat and the old man doesnt mind eating the odd dozen or so. Just like a sardine on steroids he reckons.

Ammo Jetty
in pretty average condition. Doesn't look like it would handle another descent storm.
Old fishermen never die they just smell that way.
