I got one of those pool skate
I got one of those pool skate board looking things and cut the ends off. Perfect for storing made up paternosters. The young fella wasn't too impressed so I promised to buy him a new one. Improvision the name of the game.

use blanking grommets
great idea, you could use blanking grommets and drill a small hole in them to stop the leader going back in the case...
