Hi folks, just chasing some ideas/opinions on a dinghy.
Thinking of taking one into Steep Point next year to widen our options.
Looking at a trailer topper (4mtr), fish 3 guys, stable & roomy.
I appreciate your input & will take it all on board.
cheers & stay safe

Yep & I like the sound of a 25Hp, a good balance for up north around Steep Point/Gnaraloo & Ledge Point & Lancelin way.
Do you know if a Cleveland is a stable craft or do they tend to rock around a little.
I'm not sure on the height of the sides or the width either.

Steep point dinghy
Hi all, I have taken a 4m Hornet with 30 merc and a 12 foot punt (both on trailers) into Steep Point on separate occasions. My humble opinion would be bigger the better. If it means towing, just spend the time to tie down the dingy very well and drive to conditions and the track in will not cause too much drama. I currently have a 440 Hornet with 40 Etech which would be ideal for Steep Point and 3 or 4 could fish from easily.
