Deck wash intake
Submitted by Gaffatron on Wed, 2021-06-09 15:12
Hi All,
I am purchasing a deck wash for my boat and just need advise on an intake design. I intend to mount externally on the transom and was thinking of using somthing like the below pic as the intake.
When underway would the pressure of the water on the intake find its way though the pump or are they designed to auto shutoff a gate when you depress the trigger?
TIA

I put an inline poly retic
I put an inline poly retic valve in the hose between the pickup and pump. Just turn it off when travelling .
