Emblem Pro(Black and Chrome)
Emblem Pro(Black and Chrome) doubt you will be dissapointed, emcast lowest model, if you have it used it, thinking about buying new then have a look at the model mentioned.
Edit: Noticed you mentioned Tiralejo so your talking about the Emcast surf rod, cant help you there with that one.

A mate of mine
has the 14ft model. The blank is great but personally I hate the minimalist build with no grips.
Last time I spoke to him he was looking to get it build up with new grips and reel seat, should be awesome then.

Cast weight
Raff what sort of weights are you looking to cast ie 4 oz 6oz etc I could recommend some if I know this. Plenty of good surf rods available with the emcast being the budget of the daiwa range. The tiralejo was the premium shimano heavy surf cast rod until they discontinued them. If your after light high performance rods check out the daiwa sensor surf range and also the saltiga ballistic. I have a couple of sensors and the ballistic they are fantastic rods. Heaps of options

nitro
fair enough, I have heard good things about the nitro rods as another option.
Personally I dont really like the shimano beach series they have out now some of them are cheap.
plenty of glass/composite rods around like live fibre, crystal tip and then you have the howards and snyderglas
otherwise go a south african rod especially if you want a low mount reel seat.
Pommie what size are the tiralejo's at morely and do they have O/H?

13ft
13ft is rated at 3-6oz from memory and I would recomend this one. 10ft is a light popping rod. I think it also comes in a 16ft 3-6oz but you might find that a tad awkward
