Wondering how many Brisbane Heat supporters are on the forum ? I guess i am a minority, bad luck for some ! Good contest some one had to win, and the good guys wear teal ( not good ) anyway spent the night watching with plenty of Wa supporters . Got to cheer about something ! Our blokes aren't doing much.

I gave up the Daryl
I gave up the Daryl Braithwaite concert down here for this game. I thought the Scorchers were half pissed or something. They couldn't hit the ball cleanly, nobody really played a shot. Coulter Nile took up valuable batting time and where the hell did they find that opener Stoinis who opened with Marsh? Bizarre!! Tom Triffitt should be rightly pissed off and has probably already booked his flight back to Tasmania, and I dont blame him one little bit. Sorry Huss, but you aint a wicket keeper mate.
Cheers

Not my favourite topic right now.
Scorchers played crap and were poorly managed.
I am still trying to work out the logic of Cricket Australia in handling of players. EVERY wise cricket commentator in the country (and o'seas) cannot see the logic in our team management and selection. How could the players themselves even start to understand it? Wearing the baggy green used to be a priveledge andf reward for serious achievement. Now it's just a matter of having a good game somewhere and you are likely to get a cap. No saying how long for though. Many a player in the furure will be able to boast of playing for Australia. They will just need to hide their records.

I think alot is down to the
I think alot is down to the state of domestic cricket in this country. There is no-one bashing down the door like when for example Hussey and Lehman were raping domestic attacks . Now I don't like to read too much into stats but you have guys like Quiney who averages 36 at domestic level (and will probably never be seen again), Ed Cowan with 39 ( and I am not sold on him yet) and so forth. Selection so far seems to be based on one good Shield season and not sustain excellence and there is probably too much T20 (I don't hate it...it just shouldn't be priority)

PPPFFFTTT !!!
PPPFFFTTT, thats what I think of any sort of cricket.
Its a game that was invented as a fill in between football seasons and if I not wrong started before footy came along to try to get it right and they still haven''t succeeded
