getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.

Good fun..
Managed to score a nice little dhu before the break.Couldn't find any Sambo's in shallow so we checked out North Barge which is already shark ridden, also fished some other wrecks which showed a few fish but nothing notable. Ended the day scoring some rat Yellowtail Kings on placcys and jigs which were fun on the light gear. Just finished a side of Dhu crummed and pan fried in butter, I almost forgot how delicious they are in the smaller models.
The weather was mint and its always good to meet a few new FW Members in Ben and Conrad.

we went out from Hillarys yesterday too
landed a baldy, 50 cm Breaksea cod, a about size dhui (returned before measuring) and 60 cm pinky before 8 am.
Then headed out to the barge and jigged my first amberjack only 4 kg or so.
The others fished bait at the barge and landed some reasonable skippy, another amberjack same size and HEAPS of pinkies, from 40 - 60 cm. One more solid fish (thinking pinky ) was sharked. Not the usual shark problem (yet).
the highlight was a 6 kg grey band cod on the barge - a nice surprise.
moved to 90 m and found pinkies up to 75 cm. and a leather jacket of the same size.
A few whales impressed and we were back in by 1pm. Great day to remember before the ban.

that was us
two sharkings in two drops is time to move, one from lots is unfortunate but not terminal. all bar one of our fish were on bait but surely that is not the whole problem. fish sharked was pulled in very slowly by inexperienced angler.
